Und sonst so? Gaelynn Leas drittes Album, Learning How To Stay, ist erschienen und in dem Song „I wait“ sing die Violonistin und Singer-Songwriterin über Barrieren und Wut. Janet Mock, die offensichtlich alles kann, fungierte als Erzählerin auf dem neuen Album von Blood Orange. Rola und Wanja Janeva haben einen wunderschönen Song über die Kraft von Freundinnenschaft abgeliefert mit treffenden Zeilen wie „Mir geht’s scheiße, ich muss trotzdem raus/ Nur du weißt, wie viel Kraft das raubt“. Es gab eine Reihe schöner Cover-Versionen und sehr viel neues. Und auch sehr gut, obwohl fast alles in den Sommermonaten erschien, liegt doch eine oft düstere, ruhige Stimmung über vielen Songs, die sie perfekt für den Herbst machen.
