Auf ihrer Facebookseite prangerte sie die steten Versuche von PETA, mit nackten Frauen Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen an. Andererseits trat sie bei den Konzerten oft mit „indianisch anmutendem“ Kopfschmuck auf (warum das problematisch ist, hat Jessica Yee auf racialicious dargelegt und gleichzeitig vom indigenen Feminismus erzählt). Inzwischen ist sie als Juliette Lewis unterwegs, bis 2004 rockte sie aber noch mit den Licks, hier ”Got Love to Kill“:

übrigens ist juliette lewis auch sehr symapthisch in ihrer (anfänglich) eher unsymapthischen rolle als „iron maven“ im film „whip it“. nicht zuletzt wegen den coolen schauspieler_innen und coolen girls, der angenehm undominanten lovestory und dem trend des rollerderbys (by the way: plötzlich will ich das auch, also falls jemand lust hat mich in sein team zu integrieren…). neulich gab es dann auch schon einen beitrag in der jungle world: Rollen und Rocken. Wo Riot-Grrrls auf Rollschuhen durch die Halle toben: ein Besuch beim Bear City Roller Derby in Berlin.“
